First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has supported our Scholarship Giveaway Program over the years. The past year has been a tough challenge for everyone to navigate, but in 2021 our focus remains the same, providing hope to the generations to follow. Our $10,000 scholarship recipient went to A'Sydney Robinson, who graduated from Woodruff High School with a 4.5 GPA and is a freshman at South Carolina State University, where Mr. Dandy is an alumnus. In addition, the Tory Dandy Foundation was able to provide $50,000 to the City of Spartanburg, SC, and $50,000 to the city of Woodruff, SC, to help fund youth service through their Parks and Recreation Department. As a token of their appreciation for the commitment to enriching the lives of the leaders of tomorrow, on August 29th, Spartanburg officially declared this particular date "Tory Dandy Day in Spartanburg County."
